Descrierea postului:
- Is responsible for developing the annual Sustainability BSC together with functional experts and in alignment with line management and the Corporate Strategy department; contributes with professional expertise to optimum BSC development;
- Supports Strategic Planning, Strategy Communication and Initiative Management; provides professional input and contributes with innovative initiatives to their improvement;
- Supports the budgeting processes, performs consistency checks and identifies cost saving and/or efficiency improvement potentials;
- Performs SWOT analysis of the Sustainability: HSSE strategy;
- Supports with professional expertise the development of a strategy tool;
- Is responsible for the development, implementation and successful maintenance of the Balanced Scorecard process;
- Assists / enables Departments with identifying key objectives, measures, targets and initiatives for strategic objectives; ensures their adequacy based on profound specific knowledge and expertise;
- Manages responsibles for operating and implementing BSC and managing the BSC System-Supports functional experts at corporate level and HSE/BSC experts at operational level; coordinates with other relevant positions, if the case, in order to develop optimum solutions in each situation;
- Develops and monitors metrics to clarify objectives, facilitates periodic BSC performance reviews and evaluation; proactively supports in depth deviation analyses and the development of corrective measures;
- Proactively helps to drive strategic insight and strategy execution and provides insight for quarterly BSC performance reviews;
- Ensures cross-functional coordination and alignment related to the BSC and PDS processes, especially with Corporate Strategy and Human Resources;
- Establishes key relationships with all business lines, manages and is responsible for communicating clear and comprehensive metrics that will provide a balanced view of performance throughout;
- Analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of the Balanced Scorecard process, coordinates with relevant positions for a better understanding of results and provides adequate recommendations for process improvement;
- Reviews performance levels against defined targets, liaises with relevant positions for explanation of deviations, conducts deviation analyses and provides line management with improvement/correction measures;
- Cordinates and performs annual BSC audits at divisional and site level in collaboration with functional experts and auditors;
- Coordinates the data flow between relevant persons and Balanced Scorecard Office, checks data validity and consistence, keeps permanent contact in order to collect all necessary explanations and information to support planning and implementation of action plans;
- Performs quarterly monitoring of BSC target achievements and prepares reports for steering by management; proactively supports decision making by performing in depth analyses, cross checking information in order to ensure accuracy and making sure all data is up to date;
- Performs analysis of individual sustainability goals in the PDS-Performs the annual BSC analysis; seeks improvement potentials, focusing also on the achievement of preset budgetary targets;
- Prepares reports on actual performance at both the individual level and department level;
- Ensures adequate archiving and maintenance of developed analyses and reports.
Cerinte:
- Education: university degree (scientific or engineering background, preferably mechanical, process, petroleum, energy, environmental);
- Language skills: excellent command of (written and spoken) English;
- Work experience: ideally, at least 9 years in Sustainability HSSE, thereof at least 2 years in strategy and/or planning processes (strategy development, balanced scorecard), preferably in the oil and gas or mining or natural resources industry;
- Familiar with planning methodologies, including tools; facilitation and moderation of planning processes and workshops, knowledge with the company-specific reporting tools and systems.
